eProject Continues Explosive Growth in Second Quarter
eProject Adds More Than 75 Corporate Customers in Q207 and is Named one of the Best Places to Work by Washington CEO Magazine
SEATTLE, WA — (BUSINESS WIRE) — August 1, 2007 — eProject, the on-demand leader in enterprise collaboration and project and portfolio management (PPM) software, today announced dramatic continued growth in customers and licenses during the second quarter of 2007. This tremendous growth is accompanied by the announcement that eProject made Washington CEO’s “All Star” list of the 100 Best Companies to Work For, placing third among medium size businesses of 100 to 499 employees.
Companies in a wide variety of vertical markets have been aggressively adopting eProject’s award-winning collaborative project management platform, PPM6, and the company has seen growth of 53% in bookings and 47% in revenue over the first half of the year. As businesses are increasingly looking to Web-based solutions to help them collaborate and manage business initiatives and projects, they are finding that PPM6 is a powerful yet configurable solution that will map to their specific needs.
eProject’s recent customer wins include Movado Group, National Association of Broadcasters, Relay Health – McKesson, the State of New Hampshire and the State of Texas. The company has added more than 160 customers over the first half of 2007.
"We initially looked to eProject because of their on-demand model – we wanted a solution that that would be easy to use from the get-go and wouldn’t be a hassle to deploy," said David Rehr, president of the National Association of Broadcasters. "The flexibility of eProject’s PPM6 and the ability to easily create Dynamic Applications that fit our individual business is a huge bonus. We have new visibility into our projects, how and where we’re spending time and how we’re allocating resources, and PPM6 will be a key factor in our increased focus on business management and intelligence."
The 100 Best Companies to Work For Award is determined through an independent survey of employees who score the company in the following categories: Communication, Training & Education, Responsibility & Decision Making, Performance Standards, Rewards & Recognition, Benefits, Leadership, Work Environment, Hiring & Retention and Corporate Culture. eProject has made the list each of the last three years, and took top honors in 2007 in the Hiring and Retention category.
"Businesses across the board are turning to eProject’s PPM6 solution to better collaborate and gain insight into everyday business processes, projects and objectives. Our flexible and configurable on-demand offering is easy to deploy and can work in tandem with virtually any business," said Jeff Pancottine, CEO of eProject. "The Washington CEO Award is a special acknowledgment for us as we make it a priority to foster a culture that values employees and encourages creativity – our employees have a passion for building outstanding products and making customers happy."
