Introducing: Daptiv PPM Spring '08 

In Fall ’07, Daptiv joined its rich native PPM data capture, custom views and custom data with browser-based reporting and dashboarding tools to create Work Intelligence™ -- giving companies complete visibility into the managed work in their enterprise. Now Daptiv has made it even easier for you to get information you need, when you need it.

For Executives

Mike wants to get updates about project portfolio status before his weekly Exec Team meeting. Now Daptiv PPM can deliver a status report on recurring schedules, so Mike and his whole team can come to their regular meeting prepared.

For Managers

Cindy has project teams with both internal and external resources who are key to the success of her projects. With the last release (Daptiv PPM Fall ’07), Cindy created specific dashboards with rich graphical reports and pushed them out to each of her project teams. Now, with Daptiv PPM Spring ’08, she can route a Task Status report to each of her external contractors at precise times/intervals. All she needs is to enter the email addresses choose a format (PDF, HTML, Excel, CSV or XML) and schedule distribution.

For Administrators

Laura needs to import several projects from .xls and .csv files so she can get visibility to all of her projects in one place. Using the Import Projects Wizard in Daptiv PPM Spring ’08, Laura can choose a file, map fields, and import multiple projects at once to bring them into her Daptiv system of record. Visibility, presto!

For Team Members

Ben uses Daptiv PPM several times each day to update task status and get information he needs to do his work. There are several new things for Ben in Daptiv PPM Spring ’08:

He can now export most views as PDFs or Excel files that he can use on his desktop

Ben can now see What’s New in each edition of Daptiv PPM by clicking a link right next to his user name, and will be notified of any system status announcements at login

Ben can now set his own local culture settings affective things like date format (day/month/year) or number format (e.g., decimal vs. comma separators). Even when data is entered by another user who has different local cultural settings, Ben will see information displayed according to his own.

Now, Daptiv PPM will remember more of Ben’s favorite settings when he makes choices in the system for things including number of items displayed on a page, filter settings, project view format, task types, approval policies, etc. For Ben that means less time tracking his work, and more time to get work done.
