Decision Stories
Why YES Bank chose Daptiv?
What drove your company to look into a PPM service? What were your motivations, and what were your business needs?
- Wanted to take the focus away from trying to manage projects and focus more on the actual business of banking.
- Planview and a home-grown tool was used prior to Daptiv PPM and required much more effort.
What process did you go through to select a PPM provider? What was your criteria in selecting a PPM provider?
Began to look into a new PPM option, but the process in choosing a tool was easy since the needs were clear:
- Clear dashboards that help drive a focus
- Simplicity. Nothing complicated, especially for end users. It had to be something that project managers could easily adopt.
- Flexibility. The tool should be customizable for YES BANK’s framework so they could map it back to Daptiv PPM without much effort.
- Commercials (cost-effective)
In addition to Daptiv, did you look into other PPM / Business software providers? Why did you choose Daptiv?
- Project.net
- @task
- Visibel
Daptiv was chosen because:
- Intuitiveness of software. The end user needs to be able to maneuver quickly.
- Distinct features that other vendors didn’t have:
- Demand management
- Capacity planning – scheduling work loads
- Reporting capabilities
